We are excited to add fresh Gulf of Maine Pollock Fillet to our local seafood offering at SoPo. Our pollock is harvested by local fishermen and delivered to our facility fresh out of the water. Our team inspects the Pollock for quality and cuts the fish into the fillet. 

Gulf of Maine Pollock is a white fish very similar to Cod; its mild, flaky, and tender meat can be cooked the same way - very versatile.

In the Gulf of Maine local fishermen are limited via a quota on how much Haddock and Cod they can catch. This quota is aimed at helping protect local Cod and Haddock stocks. Pollock, on the other hand, is a much more readily available option for the fishermen to catch.
